The Fox 2.0 Performance Series w/Reservoir smooth body shock absorber delivers FOX's renowned performance in a direct bolt-on package for specific GM rear applications. Designed for vehicles with a 7-10 inch lift, this shock absorber features an aluminum body that dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel, ensuring consistent performance. An external reservoir is included to increase oil and nitrogen capacity, contributing to both performance and a distinct race-inspired look. The components, including the reservoir mounting clamp, are precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The shock utilizes a race-developed, high-flow damping piston and application-specific valving to provide a predictable ride quality capable of handling rough road conditions. This rear shock absorber is compatible with a wide range of Chevrolet and GMC models including the Avalanche 2500, Silverado (1500 HD, 2500, 2500 HD, 3500, 3500 HD), Suburban 2500, Sierra (1500 HD, 2500, 2500 HD, 3500, 3500 HD), Yukon XL 2500, and Hummer H2, primarily for model years ranging from 1999 through 2019, provided they have the specified lift height and rear mounting configuration. Factory hardware, including washers, bushings, and the reservoir clamp, is included for installation.
