The BDS Suspension 982-24-828 is a rear Fox 2.0 Performance Series shock absorber engineered to enhance handling and shock performance for your vehicle. This shock absorber is built with a cold-forged, metal-impacted 6061 T6 aluminum body, which dissipates heat three times faster than traditional steel bodies, allowing it to run as cool as a 2.5-diameter shock. Key features include CNC-machined aluminum components and a heavy-duty 5/8-inch chrome shaft that is induction case hardened to over 55 Rockwell C, providing superior resistance to scratches from rust and debris. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design is crucial for performance, as it separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber. This prevents oil aeration and cavitation, delivering a predictable ride and fade-free performance even in rough conditions. This shock absorber utilizes a bar pin bottom mount and reuses the stock mounting hardware for the top mount.
