2.0 Performance Series Shock

The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shocks are engineered to transform the performance of your Truck or SUV. The durable, precision metal impact aluminum body not only resists rust but also provides increased cooling capacity for sustained performance. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration. This design allows for maximum performance from the factory-tuned precision valving. The race-developed high-flow damping piston, paired with application-specific valving, ensures predictable ride quality capable of handling rough road conditions. This specific shock absorber, part number 985-24-020, is designed for rear applications and offers a lift range of 1.5-3.5 inches for 4WD models and 3.5-4.5 inches for RWD models of Dodge and Ram 1500 trucks. For Ram 2500 models, it provides a 2-3.5 inch lift range for both 2WD and 4WD. Ram 3500 models can accommodate a 3-4 inch lift with this shock. Installation requires reusing the factory shock mounting bolts. All necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts are included. However, shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately. Fox offers a limited one-year warranty against defects and premature failure.
