The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shock absorber is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your Truck or SUV. The shock's body is precision-machined from metal-impact aluminum, which not only increases cooling efficiency but also provides superior durability and rust resistance. Inside, the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, allowing the factory-tuned precision valving to operate at maximum performance. The combination of a race-developed high-flow damping piston and application-specific valving provides a predictable ride quality capable of withstanding rough road conditions. Key specifications for this rear shock absorber include an extended length of 29.62 inches and a compressed length of 18.5 inches, with 11 inches of travel. It features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design and utilizes an EYELET/SLEEVE top and bottom mount. This shock is designed to provide 2-3 inches of lift. All necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts are included for installation, though factory shock mounting bolts are reused.
