The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Steering Stabilizer (part number 985-24-072) is engineered to enhance steering precision and stability. Constructed with a durable aluminum body, it offers superior heat dissipation compared to steel alternatives, ensuring consistent performance. The stabilizer incorporates an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design and a high-flow damping piston matched with application-specific valving to deliver predictable ride quality, even on rough terrain. This steering stabilizer comes with factory hardware for installation, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, with the expectation that factory shock mounting bolts will be reused. Shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately. Specifications for this stabilizer include an extended length of 18.55 inches, a compressed length of 12.35 inches, and 6.2 inches of travel. It features a Tapered Pin top mount and an Eyelet/Sleeve bottom mount. This stabilizer is compatible with 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee models, 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche models, and 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler models.
