The Bar Tek 2.0 TSI EA888 Open Air Intake is engineered for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance from their 2.0L and 1.8L TSI EA888 engines. The optimized design ensures that your turbo has ample fresh air to operate efficiently, leading to substantial power gains. Constructed from durable PA 6.6 material, this intake is known for its high toughness and resistance to common automotive fluids like oils, greases, and fuels, while maintaining a very light weight. The system features an integrated heat shield to ensure the performance air filter draws in cool air, further optimizing combustion and power output. Despite being an open-air design, the system effectively draws in cool air by quickly evacuating warm air from the engine compartment. This open air intake is TÜV certified for various EA888 MQB models, including the Golf 7 and Golf 8 series. The system is available with a blue or black filter and promises up to 25 hp and 20 Nm more torque compared to the standard intake, along with a more aggressive engine sound.
