The Unitronic Intercooler Upgrade Kit is a direct OEM replacement for the 2.0 TSI engine, engineered to support high horsepower applications ranging from Stage 2 stock turbo setups to 500+HP Big Turbo configurations. The core of this kit is a massive 23.5" x 2" x 16.5" bar and plate intercooler, constructed from durable T5052 aluminum. It features T6061 cast aluminum end tanks with a proprietary internal fin and louver configuration for maximum efficiency, all TIG welded for superior strength. This intercooler upgrade significantly reduces charge air temperatures, providing a drastic reduction in heat-soak and ensuring optimal performance under all driving conditions. It boasts over 60% more volume than the factory intercooler, and its design allows for sufficient spacing between the A/C condenser and radiator. The kit includes a CNC machined billet aluminum OEM boost hose adapter and multi-ply flow-matched silicone hoses for a smooth airflow transition. The kit comes complete with the Unitronic Direct Fit 2.0 TSI Intercooler Core, Unitronic 2.0 TSI Hose Kit, and Unitronic MK5/MK6 Intercooler Bolt Kit. Specific fitment includes Audi A3 8P (FWD/Quattro) 2.0T, Audi TT MKII Quattro 2.0T, Volkswagen Beetle 2.0T, Volkswagen Eos 2.0T TSI, Volkswagen Golf V 2.0T TSI, Volkswagen Golf VI 2.0T, Volkswagen Jetta V 2.0T TSI, and Volkswagen Jetta VI GLI. Note that some models, such as the Eos, Golf V, and Jetta V, specifically require the TSI engine.
