2.0L 200 CEL Catted Downpipe

The Evolution Racewerks 200 CEL Catted Downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance of the 2.0L engine found in the 2016+ Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2017+ Stelvio. Restrictions in the factory exhaust system, particularly the catalytic converter, significantly limit horsepower and torque on turbocharged vehicles. This downpipe replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converter with a high-flow, 200-cell metallic core. Unlike the factory's 600-cell ceramic converter, the lower cell count and metallic construction of this downpipe allow exhaust gases to pass more freely, reducing backpressure. This results in increased horsepower and torque, quicker turbocharger spool with less lag, and a more responsive throttle. Constructed with 100% 304-grade stainless steel and utilizing mandrel-bent tubing, this downpipe is TIG welded for durability. It features a CNC-machined billet stainless steel V-band flange and a cast stainless steel inlet to ensure a smooth transition from the turbocharger's oval outlet. The piping transitions from 4 inches immediately after the turbocharger to 3 inches to match Evolution Racewerks' 3-inch mid-pipes, further minimizing restriction compared to the factory 2.5-inch system. Optional finishes like Polished and Ceramic Thermal Coated Black are available, with the thermal coating offering heat resistance up to 2000°F, keeping underhood temperatures lower and maintaining exhaust gas velocity. Additional options include an O2 sensor bung for wideband sensors and an EGT bung for exhaust gas temperature monitoring.
