The Acura oil pump, part number 15100-PRB-A01, is a genuine OEM replacement component. It is designed for the RSX models from engine serial numbers 1112280 and 1409140, specifically for 2.0L applications, and replaces the 15100pnd003 oil pump. This oil pump is also noted as ideal for K24 swaps, featuring a smaller and lighter rotating assembly than standard K24 components, which allows for higher RPM capabilities. This oil pump is compatible with the 2002-2006 Acura RSX Base and Type-S models. It is also suitable for various Honda models including the 2001-2006 Civic Type R (EP3), 2002-2011 Civic Si, 2003-2007 Accord, 2002-2006 CRV, and 2003-2011 Element. For the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si, a PRL PRB Conversion Kit is required. When performing a K24 swap, it is crucial to use K20A2-specific installation parts, such as the windage tray, chain, and tensioner, as K24 components are not interchangeable and should not be used.
