2.0L TDI CP3 Adapter Kit

The Whitbread 2.0L CR TDI CP3 Adapter Kit offers a solution for those experiencing issues with their stock CP4 fuel pumps. This kit allows for the installation of a more reliable Bosch 0445010194 CP3 pump, commonly found in 09-12 BMW 335D and X5D models. Constructed with precision, all parts are CNC machined in-house. The adapter plate is crafted from robust 7075 aluminum, providing increased strength compared to standard 6061 aluminum, while the pulley hub is made from durable 1215 steel. The comprehensive kit includes the pump adapter plate, pulley hub, a high-pressure fuel line threaded adapter, banjo fuel fittings, and all necessary nuts and bolts for installation. For CKRA Passat models, a separately sold CNC machined/welded coolant neck is required due to potential interference with the CP3 pump. Installation notes include the recommendation for minor re-bending of the OEM high-pressure fuel line using a quality 1/4" or 6mm tube bender. Additionally, an ECU tune update is strongly recommended for optimal rail pressure control and to prevent fault codes. Crucially, when installing the high-pressure fuel outlet fitting, the spring from the OEM fitting must be transferred to the new fitting to avoid pump damage and maintain warranty. The kit is available for purchase on its own, allowing users to source their own CP3 pump, or as a complete package with a new Bosch pump that includes a 12-month warranty.
