The Bar Tek 2.0L TFSI & TSI upgrade low pressure fuel pump, in its V3 RACE version, is engineered to support engines producing up to 700 horsepower. This component is vital for performance-tuned vehicles where increased fuel consumption demands a more robust low-pressure fuel delivery system. A standard pump may falter under higher demands, leading to fuel starvation, especially during cornering when fuel levels are low, which can cause stuttering or engine stalling and potentially severe engine damage. Designed as a direct, plug-and-play replacement, this fuel pump unit eliminates the need for modifications to the original fuel pump bracket, ensuring it sits correctly within the tank. The pump offers a delivery rate of approximately 350 liters per hour at 3 bar. For vehicles with standard software, no engine software modifications are required to utilize this pump's capabilities. It is recommended that after installation, the fuel gauge be checked and recalibrated using VCDS if necessary. For optimal performance and to fully leverage the capabilities of this upgrade pump, it is advised to replace the output stage or control unit in conjunction with the fuel pump. If the pump does not function correctly, tuners should program the pump control to its series settings (PWM signal).
