The HPS Turbo Resonator is engineered to enhance the performance of the Lexus 2.0L Turbo 8AR-FTS engine by replacing the restrictive stock plastic resonator. This upgrade promotes quicker throttle response, minimizes turbo lag, and ensures smoother air delivery to the engine, contributing to a more instantaneous boost. The resonator features a robust 10mm thick 6061 billet aluminum flange and a 2-1/8 inch outside diameter aluminum intake tube, finished in a polished look. Designed using CAD and 3D scanning, the HPS Turbo Resonator guarantees a direct fit without requiring modifications to your vehicle. It is compatible with both the stock charge pipe and the HPS aluminum charge pipe, as well as many other aftermarket charge pipe kits on the market. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in about 20 minutes using basic hand tools. This performance upgrade is specifically recommended for Lexus models equipped with the 8AR-FTS 2.0L Turbo engine, including the 2016-2017 IS200t, NX200t, GS200t, and RC200t, as well as the 2018-2022 IS300, NX300, GS300, and RC300. A slight increase in induction noise may be noticeable when paired with an HPS Performance Air Intake System.
