The TME Performance Downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2017-2018 Volvo S60/V60 Polestar equipped with the 2.0L 4-cyl VEA engine. By effectively reducing exhaust back-pressure, this upgrade facilitates a smoother exhaust gas flow, leading to quicker turbo spool-up, noticeable performance gains, and improved auditory feedback. Manufactured in Sweden within an ISO 9001 certified facility, the downpipe features mandrel-bent piping constructed from 304SS non-magnetic stainless steel. The piping dimensions are 4 inches through the catalyst, stepping down to 3 inches for the flex pipe section, and concluding at 2.75 inches at the rear flange. However, professional installation is highly recommended. Additionally, the rear oxygen sensor wiring will require extension (approximately 12 inches). Installation may involve using a pry bar to maneuver the supercharger intake pipe for oxygen sensor removal; the intake pipe itself does not need to be detached.
