The PLM Power Driven Subaru EWG Up-Pipe is a high-flow component crafted from durable 304 stainless steel, featuring a 2.0mm piping thickness and a robust 0.5" flange. Its construction includes hand TIG welding for superior integrity and minimal internal steps to maximize flow, offering precision CNC mandrel bends for optimal performance. This up-pipe is designed to integrate seamlessly with 38mm or 40mm external wastegates (EWGs) through an included V-band dump tube. By utilizing an external wastegate, the system helps to prevent exhaust stream turbulence, leading to quicker turbo spool and improved boost control. The direct bolt-on design eliminates the need for modifications, attaching directly to the OEM header or turbo. This component is compatible with a range of Subaru models, including the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2004-2006 Baja Turbo, 2004-2013 Forester XT, 1991-1994 Legacy Turbo, 2005-2009 Legacy GT, and 2005-2009 Outback XT. It is important to note that this up-pipe does not work for RHD (Right Hand Drive) vehicles. Installation includes all necessary hardware and gaskets. Performance gains are estimated between 10-40+ whp, depending on the vehicle's setup.
