2.0T FSI EA111 Transverse Air Intake System

The CTS Turbo air intake system is specifically engineered for the transverse 2.0T FSI EA111 VW/Audi range of vehicles, including the MK5 GTI, GLI, EOS, MK6 Golf R, MK3 Scirocco R, MK2 SEAT Leon, Cupra R, B6 VW Passat (manual transmission only), 8P Audi A3, and 8P Audi S3. This system features a sealed airbox and an integrated air scoop designed to efficiently force cold air into the 2.75″ intake piping. The intake utilizes a high-flow, reusable 3″ air filter with an inverted cone design for optimal engine breathing. The CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe, finished with black powder coating, ensures a smooth entry of cold air into the engine, minimizing turbulence and maximizing airflow. This design contributes to peak power gains ranging from 9-15WHP on stock vehicles, with potential for even greater gains when tuned. The system maintains factory MAF position to ensure perfect fuel trims and no Check Engine Light (CEL) issues. Additional product details include 4-ply silicon connectors and stainless steel clamps for a secure fit, as well as bracketry designed to prevent rattling under engine torquing. The airbox is finished with rubberized trim. This intake kit is also compatible with CTS BOSS kits, featuring provisions for easy installation with included plugs.
