2.0T GDI Competition Intercooler Kit

The Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Kit is a performance-focused cooling solution engineered specifically for the 2015-2020 Kia Optima JF GT 2.0T GDI. By replacing the restrictive stock intercooler, this kit addresses heat soak and cooling efficiency challenges, making it well-suited for high-performance and racing applications. The system includes the intercooler, black silicone hoses, and the necessary mounting hardware. Technically, the unit features a high-performance tube-fin core with a total volume of 14.71 liters. The aluminum cast endtanks were designed using CAD and optimized through CFD simulations to ensure ideal internal airflow while maintaining minimal back pressure. A specialized air baffle is included to ensure that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, receive sufficient airflow during operation. Each unit is finished with an anti-corrosion powder coating that provides heat-conducting properties to protect against environmental degradation, ensuring long-term durability and consistent thermal performance.
