2.0T TSI Forged I-Beam Connecting Rod Kit

The CTS Turbo connecting rods are engineered for performance applications, specifically designed to accommodate larger turbos and increased boost levels in VW and Audi 2.0T TSI engines (EA888 Gen 1, 2, & 3). These rods are crafted from robust Forged 4340 chromoly steel with an I-beam design, which provides excellent torsional stiffness and handles high compressive loads effectively. A key feature is the rifle drilling, a process that increases the longevity of the pin by ensuring extra lubrication. Each connecting rod is precisely measured on an in-house CMM and honed to exact tolerances, then measured and balanced in Canada for optimal performance and reliability. These rods are designed to work with aftermarket pistons and come equipped with genuine ARP 2000 rod bolts. Specifications include a 144mm center-to-center length, a 22mm wrist pin diameter, and a 3/8" rod bolt dimension. The I-beam design, non-tapered wrist pin style, and specific big-end journal dimensions (width: 21.90mm, diameter: 50.60mm) are all part of the robust construction. Precision honing, measurement, and balancing are performed in Canada to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
