2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 Performance Downpipe w/ GESI UHOX Cat

The Unitronic Performance Downpipe is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the MK8 GTI featuring the 2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 engine. At its core is a 5-inch G-Sport UHOX 400cpsi catalytic converter, a collaborative development with emissions partner Global Emissions Systems Inc (GESi). The construction features TIG-welded stainless steel for durability, CFD-optimized upper downpipe castings for superior flow into the catalytic converter, and an OEM-style corrugated mesh flex bellow. Hardware included consists of V-band clamps, centering rings, a stainless steel midpipe section, and a stainless steel exhaust reducer. To fully leverage the performance enhancements of this downpipe, Unitronic Stage 2 ECU Software is required. When paired with Unitronic Stage 2 E85 Performance Software and other supporting modifications, this downpipe system can contribute to outputs of up to 417HP and 426LB-FT. The installation is described as a direct OEM replacement, manageable within a few hours with moderate mechanical skill and tools, rated at a difficulty level of 4 out of 5. This downpipe is compatible with factory or upgraded cat-back exhaust systems, with reducers available for both. Warranty registration is required for all products integrating GESi Catalysts.
