The Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System is engineered for optimal performance in the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3 models featuring the 2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 engine. Unitronic has developed this system to enhance performance, air velocity, and throttle response by reducing airflow restrictions. It features a multi-ply silicone turbo inlet hose and an aluminum coupler for a secure connection to the factory DV port. The system includes a proprietary 3-inch dry cotton filter designed for maximum airflow and debris filtration. The estimated installation time is approximately one hour. The system also enhances turbocharger and diverter valve sounds due to its open element design. This intake system is specifically designed for the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3. Additional hardware, such as the Carbon Fiber Air Duct, is available separately to further optimize airflow.
