2.1L Big Bore Twin Screw Supercharger Kit

The Kenne Bell 2.1L Big Bore supercharger kit represents the pinnacle of Twin Screw supercharging technology for the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L 2V. Building on Kenne Bell's pioneering work since 1991, this kit delivers quiet operation, a self-contained lubrication system, and instant, lag-free boost across the entire RPM range. Its design results in a fat, flat torque curve and fits discreetly under the stock hood, maintaining a factory appearance. This kit features a billet aluminum Twin Screw supercharger with new BIG BORE rotor profiles, rated for 750HP. It includes 8 new 36lb injectors, a re-calibrated Mono Chip, and a 160° thermostat. The intercooled version incorporates an 86% efficient bar and plate intercooler and a dual heat exchanger for cooler air charge temperatures, requiring 10-16 less HP to drive than Roots-style systems. The boost range is adjustable from 6-14 psi, with options for higher boost pulleys available for competition use. The kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, with major components pre-assembled and tested for easy installation. It includes all necessary hardware, lines, fittings, and gaskets. Note that the 14 psi competition kit is not 50-state legal. For 1996-1998 Mustangs, this kit can be used but requires PI or aftermarket heads.
