2.2-Inch Monotube Rear Shock Absorbers

The Dobinsons IMS43-50801 is a performance-oriented rear shock absorber pair, engineered for the Mitsubishi Triton and L200 MQ models. These 2.2-inch monotube shocks are designed to provide superior handling and control, even under heavy loads and across varied terrains, by eliminating shock fade. This is achieved through their construction, which includes a large 56mm (2.2-inch) body for increased oil capacity and cavitation resistance, a 50mm bore with a race-inspired, high-flow CNC 6061 billet alloy piston, and a hardened chrome piston rod measuring 18/22mm. The IMS43-50801 shocks are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, allowing for customization and extended service life. They feature a robust heavy-duty single-piece lower leg and a heavy-duty 3-stage FKM HNBR sealing system, ensuring ultimate reliability and durability. The nitrogen gas charge and EDP surface protection further enhance their performance and corrosion resistance. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house engineers, these shocks are built to withstand extreme conditions worldwide. They are a direct, bolt-on replacement, simplifying installation. These shocks can be used with original coils or aftermarket setups. The fitment is specified for Mitsubishi Triton and L200 models from 2006 onwards, including MQ and MR variants.
