The Motorsport Auto 15-6026 is a cat-back performance exhaust system designed for the 1984-1985 Nissan 300ZX Z31 non-turbo coupe. It features 2 1/4" aluminized piping and a "Turbo" style muffler engineered for reduced back pressure and efficient scavenging, aiming for a pleasing low rumble during normal operation and increased volume under acceleration. This direct-fit system connects to the factory catalytic converter and requires no welding.

The Motorsport Auto 15-6026 is a "cat-back" performance exhaust system specifically engineered for 1984 and 1985 Nissan 300ZX Z31 non-turbo coupe models. Constructed from aluminized material, it utilizes 2 1/4" piping and a "Turbo" style muffler designed to minimize back pressure and enhance exhaust scavenging for improved performance and sound. The system is designed for a direct fit to the factory catalytic converter, eliminating the need for welding during installation and includes a 2 1/2" chrome tip. This exhaust system aims to provide a balance between power gains and an aggressive yet controlled sound profile. The "Turbo" designation refers to the muffler's internal flow design, not its compatibility with turbocharged engines. Installation of this system on 4-seater 2+2 models requires the additional purchase of the 2+2 Extension Pipe (15-6068) and clamp (15-8053) to ensure proper fitment. It is crucial to note that this exhaust system is NOT compatible with factory turbocharged models; for those applications, part number 15-6314 is recommended. Buyers should also inspect existing exhaust hanger bushings and may need replacements (15-8063 for rear muffler hanger) as the system utilizes the entire rear hanger assembly.
