This system aims to reduce pumping losses, improve throttle response, and enhance engine sound.

This performance air intake system is engineered specifically for 1990-1993 Honda Accord models featuring the 2.2L F22A1, F22A4, or F22A6 SOHC engine. By replacing the stock intake with a smooth-bore tube and a high-flow, washable/reusable cotton media filter, this system significantly reduces air intake restriction. The streamlined airflow path allows the F22A engine to achieve optimal volumetric efficiency more readily, resulting in a sharper throttle response and a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque across the RPM range. Beyond performance, the intake also eliminates the factory resonators, producing a deeper, sportier induction growl under acceleration while maintaining civilized noise levels during cruising. The black finish offers a stealthy engine bay appearance. For optimal performance after installation, it is recommended to disconnect the vehicle's battery for approximately 10 minutes to allow the ECU to reset and adapt to the increased airflow. The product comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
