Description

The Pioneer TS-271M is a 2-way, 2-3/4 inch coaxial speaker designed for custom-fit applications. This open and smooth design ensures a seamless transition to the 16mm Polyetherimide (PEI) hard dome tweeter, which extends high-frequency response up to 34 kHz. With a maximum power handling of 450 Watts and a nominal power handling of 100 Watts (when used with the in-line filter), these speakers are capable of producing impactful sound. The speaker efficiency is rated at 82 dB (1W/1M), providing good output with moderate power input. The cut-out dimensions are 2-1/2 inches, and the mounting depth is a shallow 1-1/4 inches, allowing for installation in a variety of locations. As part of Pioneer's A Series, the TS-271M speakers are voiced to complement other A Series components, creating a cohesive and impressive audio system.
