Description

The Sonnax 77754-41 is a heavy-duty 2-3 shift valve engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E transmissions. This upgraded valve significantly enhances transmission durability by applying the overrun clutch in D3, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears, providing greater strength than the factory design which only engages this clutch in D3 and 3rd gear. This design offers substantial benefits for applications requiring extra robustness, such as plow trucks and heavy-duty vehicles, or for those seeking to optimize performance. The Sonnax 77754-41 also works effectively with aftermarket electronic paddle shifters, allowing for full downshift engine braking in 2nd gear even when the shifter is in the D3 position. Compatibility Note: This valve is not compatible with the 2005 Corvette equipped with the 1MX separator plate.
