This complete kit includes the VMP 2.3L TVS head unit, a 123mm JLT air intake, a VMP Twinjet 67mm throttle body, and an integrated intercooler system to maintain cooling efficiency.

The VMP 2.3L TVS Supercharger Level 2 Kit is a comprehensive forced-induction solution for the 2011-2014 5.0L Ford Mustang GT, designed to deliver a substantial performance increase while maintaining reliable daily driveability. The kit features a 2.3L TVS supercharger head unit paired with a 3.2-inch pulley set for 10psi of boost, supported by a cast aluminum lower intake manifold with an integrated charge air cooler. Key components included in the package are the VMP Twinjet 67mm throttle body, a 123mm JLT intake, 56 lb fuel injectors, VMP billet aluminum fuel rails, and a high-flow Bosch brushless intercooler pump. The cooling system is managed by a VMP heat exchanger and low-temp radiator to ensure consistent performance. Installation is facilitated by the included VMP No-Grind FEAD system, which bundles all required idlers, tensioners, belts, and mounting hardware. Hardware prerequisites include an SCT X4 Tuning Device, which is sold separately and required to flash the included VMP 91-93 Octane tune. It is strongly recommended to install NGK TR7ix spark plugs for optimal engine operation in this supercharged configuration. Professional installation is generally recommended, with estimated labor times of 8-12 hours. Users looking to increase output further can utilize smaller pulleys and upgrade to 8 or 10-rib belt drive systems, provided they have the necessary supporting fuel and octane modifications.
