Overview

The Metco Motorsports 2.45" Upper Supercharger Pulley is designed for LSA engines. It replaces the original 2.95" steel pulley on the 2009-2015 CTS-V and 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1 to generate an additional 4-5 pounds of boost.

This pulley features a three-piece design with a high-grade steel hub and an interchangeable aluminum ring and front cover. The hub is sized for an interference fit on the supercharger shaft, requiring no pinning or drilling for installation. The black-anodized pulley ring and front cover offer durable surface protection, while the steel hub is nickel-plated. The pulley cover is machined to accept the original plastic cap for a stock appearance.

The Metco Motorsports 2.45" Upper Supercharger Pulley is a performance upgrade designed for LSA engines, specifically the 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V and 2012-2015 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This pulley replaces the factory 2.95" steel supercharger pulley, with the 2.45" diameter unit designed to produce an additional 4 to 5 pounds of boost. The three-piece construction includes a high-grade steel pulley hub, an interchangeable aluminum ring, and a front cover. The hub features an appropriate interference fit for the supercharger shaft, eliminating the need for pinning or drilling. The black-anodized finish on the pulley ring and front cover provides long-lasting surface protection, while the steel pulley hub is nickel-plated. Precision machining on a CNC lathe ensures zero runout and perfect balance. The pulley's tooth pattern is a blueprint of the SAE standard, maximizing belt engagement and avoiding the need for serrations or coatings that can cause noise, dust, and accelerated belt wear. Proper PCM calibration is required after installation. A shorter supercharger belt, such as the Gates or NAPA 080653, is necessary, and the upper portion of the supercharger must be removed for installation, requiring a press to install the new pulley. Note that this LSA supercharger pulley was revised in September 2024, and is not compatible with LSA pulley rings or hubs manufactured before that date.
