The CTS Turbo throttle pipe is a performance-enhancing upgrade for the MQB model range, including VW Golf/AllTrack/Sportwagen, GTI, Golf R, Jetta GLI, and Audi A3, S3, and TT/TT-S models from 2015 onwards. This kit replaces the stock charge piping, which can be restrictive, with a mandrel-bent aluminum pipe that has an increased diameter of 2.5 inches. This larger diameter promotes better airflow, leading to increased efficiency, horsepower, and torque across the entire power band. Constructed from durable, mandrel-bent aluminum with a black powder coating, this throttle pipe also features a CNC-machined MAP flange for precise sensor readings. The connection points utilize 4-ply silicon connectors secured with stainless steel clamps, ensuring a robust and leak-free seal. Additionally, an integrated 1/8" NPT bung is included, which allows for the straightforward installation of water methanol injection kits, such as those from Snow Performance. This pipe is compatible with both factory and aftermarket intercoolers. Installation instructions are available for download. This upgrade aims to optimize the induction system for enthusiasts seeking enhanced engine output and a more responsive driving experience.
