2.5" Coil-over Shock Assembly

This robust hoop is fabricated from 1.5” x .120 DOM seamless tubing and 3/16″ steel plate, ensuring durability for off-road applications. Installation involves a partially welded kit that requires on-truck welding for the frame plates and the lower shock mounts onto the Dana 35/44 beams. The design allows for easy placement by utilizing factory holes for pre-welding alignment. This conversion utilizes a 2.5” King coilover shock as its primary suspension component. When integrated with Solo Motorsports' Dana 35 Cut & Turned beams and 1.25” Heimed Extended Radius Arms, this setup is designed to deliver approximately 15 inches of wheel travel with 35″ tires and no fiberglass fenders. With 4 1/2″ over beams and fiberglass fenders, wheel travel can extend up to 19 inches. This kit includes a convenient bolt-on crossbar that can be removed for unobstructed engine access during maintenance or repair. All necessary Grade 8 hardware is provided for installation. It is crucial to note that this is a weld-it-yourself kit; proper suspension cycling and professional welding are essential for optimal performance and safety. The Coilover Conversion Engine Cage must be welded to the frame.
