Show original supplier description
The Muse Motorsports Short Route Upper Intercooler Piping is engineered to provide the shortest and most direct air path from the intercooler to the throttle body for 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Evo 8 and 9 models. By eliminating unnecessary bends and significantly reducing the total path length compared to the OEM configuration, this kit improves airflow efficiency and minimizes the likelihood of boost leaks. Each kit is manufactured using 2.5-inch 304 grade stainless steel tubing that has been mandrel-bent to maintain consistent flow. The system utilizes rolled beads and heavy-duty stainless steel t-bolt clamps paired with three fiber-reinforced 3-ply silicone couplers to ensure hardware stays securely in place under high-boost operation. Please note that due to the specialized short-route design, this installation requires the use of a small battery or a dedicated battery relocation kit. The manufacturer provides a lifetime "No Hassle" guarantee on this product.
