Description

This Rough Country 2.5 Inch Lift Kit, part number 740.23, is engineered for the 1997-2004 Toyota Tacoma 2WD and 4WD models. It provides a 2.5-inch lift in the front and a 1.5-inch lift in the rear, effectively leveling the vehicle's stance for a more aggressive look and improved off-road capability. The kit emphasizes a true bolt-on installation, requiring no cutting, welding, or specialized tools, with an estimated installation time of 2-4 hours. The system aims to preserve factory ride quality through the use of precision-engineered rear shackles and custom-tuned shock options, such as the N3 nitrogen-charged shocks. Users can also opt for the M1 monotube shocks for enhanced performance. Minor exhaust modification will be required for installation. This kit is specifically designed for the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and 1997-2004 Toyota Tacoma 2WD models. Importantly, it does NOT fit five lug models.
