The BDS Suspension BDS401FS is a 2.5-inch suspension lift kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 1969-1971 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 models. This kit provides the necessary clearance to accommodate up to 31-inch tires, giving your vehicle a more aggressive look and improved off-road potential. At the core of this kit are BDS's Glide-Ride leaf springs, designed with a progressive spring rate for a smooth ride regardless of load. These springs feature an exclusive triple-stage design with tapered and roll-pointed leafs that add flexibility and ensure an even deflection rate. Anti-friction pads contribute to a smooth and quiet operation, while bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leaf fanning, allowing for greater articulation and flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. The springs also incorporate a full military wrap to protect the spring eyes. This comprehensive kit includes everything needed to achieve the 2.5-inch lift, such as front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs and new u-bolts.
