2.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Steering Dampener

The Old Man Emu lift kit provides a 2.5-inch suspension lift to improve ride height and off-road capability for the 1991-1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series. The included caster kit uses four eccentric bushes pressed into the vehicle's leading arms to restore positive caster to the front geometry after the lift is installed. The kit comes with two front coil springs, two rear coil springs, two front shocks (63018), two rear shocks (63020), one steering dampener (SD 24), and the caster kit (CA 77B). Spring options vary by load capacity to accommodate vehicle setups like heavy bumpers or roof racks. The system is also compatible with the 1997 Lexus LX 450, provided the vehicle is equipped with coil spring suspension. An optional 3-inch lift configuration is available using J-series coils and longer L-series shocks. If this 3-inch configuration is chosen, an adjustable panhard rod is required. When using the extended-length L-series shocks, the installer must provide and install .75-inch front and 1.25-inch rear bump stop spacers to prevent the shocks from bottoming out during full compression.
