The MAPerformance Axleback Exhaust is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to enhance the sound profile and aesthetic of the 2022 and newer Subaru WRX. By replacing the rear section of the factory exhaust, this system provides a deeper, more aggressive tone without requiring complex modifications to the rest of the drivetrain. Constructed from durable T304 stainless steel, the system utilizes 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing to ensure smooth exhaust flow. The assembly is TIG-welded for strength and features 3/8-inch laser-cut flanges for a precise, leak-free connection at the OEM Y-pipe. The kit includes 3/8-inch exhaust hangers that align perfectly with the factory mounting points to simplify the installation process. Each system is finished with dual 3.5-inch exhaust tips, offered in either polished stainless or burnt blue finishes to match your aesthetic preferences. The entire axleback assembly weighs 12.25 lbs, which is over 50% lighter than the factory configuration. The package includes all necessary hardware, including OEM crush gaskets, mounting bolts, flanged nuts, and anti-seize compound to facilitate a complete, bolt-on installation.
