2.5 Series Stage 1 Suspension Kit

The Icon Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 suspension system is engineered for the 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma, aiming to enhance both on-road and off-road performance by increasing wheel travel and damping ability. This system includes front 2.5 Series coilovers with internal reservoirs for improved cooling and adjustable lift heights ranging from 1.25 to 3 inches, allowing for larger tire fitment (up to 33" x 11.50"). It also incorporates front differential drop brackets to maximize suspension travel and prevent CV bind, along with polyurethane differential mounting bushings. The rear of the vehicle is addressed with ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir shocks, specifically valved to balance the truck's performance. Key components include the 2.5 VS IR Coilover Kit, a front differential drop kit (required for 4WD models, part #55160), and 2.0 VS IR rear shocks providing 0-1" of rear lift. The system is constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and features 7/8" front shafts and 5/8" rear shafts. While OEM wheels and tires fit, aftermarket recommendations include ICON Alloys in 17x8.5 or 18x9 sizes. Larger tires may require fender trimming. Important fitment notes: this kit will not fit Tacoma submodels equipped with rear leaf springs. Furthermore, it is not compatible with vehicles featuring Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is required after installation. ICON Delta Joint Pro front upper control arms are recommended for maintaining proper wheel alignment when lifting above 2 inches.
