2.5 Series Stage 2 Suspension System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 Suspension System for the 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma is engineered to enhance off-road and on-road performance by increasing wheel travel and damping ability. This Stage 2 system features vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series front coilovers with internal reservoirs for improved cooling and ICON-engineered coil springs, allowing for adjustable front lift heights from 1.25 to 3 inches. The rear of the vehicle is addressed with triple-rate coil springs that offer a softer droop and ride rate with a firmer overload, paired with ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir rear shocks for balanced performance. To maximize front suspension travel and prevent CV joint binding on 4WD models, the kit incorporates front differential drop brackets and specifically designed coilover lengths. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings are included to reduce differential movement under load. The rear lift height is .5 inches. Important compatibility notes and installation considerations include: This system is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles. A recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is required after installation. This kit will not fit Tacoma submodels equipped with rear leaf springs. For 4WD models, the front differential drop kit (part # 55160) is required. If installing on a 2WD Toyota Tacoma, the front differential drop kit is not needed, and components can be purchased individually; 2WD-specific kits are forthcoming. An adjustable track bar is recommended for axle realignment but is not strictly required.
