2.5" Stainless Steel Downpipe

The CTS Turbo 2.5" Stainless Steel downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance of Mini Cooper S vehicles equipped with N14 and N18 engines. The stock downpipe is a significant restriction in the exhaust system, limiting horsepower gains, especially in tuned vehicles. This aftermarket downpipe is constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing, features T304 stainless steel flanges and O2 bungs, and is 100% TIG welded for durability. Key design elements include a CNC-machined turbine discharge flange, mandrel-bent 2.5" tubing for optimal exhaust gas flow, and smooth transitions throughout the system. Its modular design also simplifies the installation of an optional catalytic converter. The manufacturer notes that Stage 2 software upgrade is strongly recommended to avoid a Check Engine Light (CEL). This downpipe is compatible with a wide range of Mini Cooper S models, including the R56 Hatchback (2007-2013), R55 Clubman (2008-2014), R57 Convertible (2009-2015), R58 Coupe (2012-2015), R59 Roadster (2012-2015), R60 Countryman (2011-2016), and R61 Paceman (2013-2016).
