2.5L 5-Cylinder Intake Manifold Kit

The Integrated Engineering IEIMVB3-BK is an ultimate power kit for 2.5L 5-cylinder engines, designed to significantly enhance performance. The core of the kit is the IE performance manifold, featuring a cast aluminum construction with computer-optimized runner lengths and diameters. This design creates a resonance effect, forcing more air into the cylinders and maximizing flow for improved performance. The kit also includes a direct-fit cold air intake that positions the air filter behind the driver's side headlight for fresh airflow. Engineered for MK5 07K engines, this power kit is designed for a direct bolt-on installation without modifications to the engine bay, vacuum, emissions, fuel, or coolant systems. The increased plenum volume ensures even airflow distribution to all five cylinders. The kit also comes with Stage 2 manifold software designed to recalibrate the naturally aspirated 2.5L engine, increasing horsepower and torque, removing rev hang, improving throttle response, and raising the rev limiter. This manifold will fit all VW 2.5L engines equipped with an electric power steering system. However, it will not fit vehicles with a hydraulic power steering pump, which is located below the factory intake manifold. For automatic transmission vehicles, an IE TCU Transmission tune is required to prevent the stock tune from shifting before the manifold and software can take full advantage of the power gains. Professional installation is recommended due to the complexity of the installation process and the potential for serious engine damage if installed incorrectly. The included manifold fittings and cold air intake are designed for MK5 platform 2.5L engines. While the kit can fit many MK6 Golf, MK6 Jetta, and Jetta Sportwagon models from 2010-2014, these applications may require custom modifications and fitting alterations.
