2.5L 5-Cylinder Performance Intake Manifold Kit

The Integrated Engineering IEIMVB4-BK is a performance intake manifold kit engineered to unlock the full potential of VW's 2.5L 5-cylinder engines, specifically for the MK5 platform. Constructed from cast aluminum, this manifold features precisely tuned runner lengths and diameters, along with an increased plenum volume, designed via CFD software to ram more air into cylinders and improve flow for significant power gains throughout the mid to high RPM band. This kit includes the IE 2.5L performance intake manifold and the IE Stage 2 manifold software. The software recalibrates the engine to maximize the benefits of the manifold, providing a substantial increase in horsepower and torque (40+ HP claimed), while also enhancing the driving experience by removing rev hang, improving throttle response, and raising the rev limiter. Installation requires removal of factory components like the intake manifold, fuel injectors, and fuel rail; professional installation is recommended due to the potential for serious engine damage if installed incorrectly. FITMENT RESTRICTIONS: This manifold is compatible with VW 2.5L engines equipped with an electric power steering system. It will NOT fit vehicles with a hydraulic power steering pump, as it is located where the manifold is positioned. Additionally, automatic transmission vehicles require a matching IE TCU Transmission tune to overcome stock limiters and fully utilize the increased power potential. Factory or aftermarket cold air intakes may not fit directly due to the relocated throttle body and will likely require modifications. VEHICLE FITMENT: This kit is designed for the MK5 VW Rabbit (2006-2009) and Jetta/Jetta GLI (2006-2010) with the 2.5L engine. It may also fit MK6 Golf (2010-2014), MK6 Jetta (2010-2014), and Jetta Sportwagen (2011-2014) with some custom modifications.
