2.5L Cast Aluminum Intake Manifold

The Integrated Engineering performance intake manifold is engineered to bring your 2.5L engine to life, offering a motorsport-designed component with precisely tuned runner lengths and diameters for increased airflow and power. Its cast aluminum construction enables engineers to optimize runner and velocity stack shapes for significant power increases throughout the mid-high RPM band, utilizing CFD software for development. This manifold increases plenum volume and distributes airflow evenly to all five cylinders, providing a substantial improvement over the factory component. This kit is designed for a direct bolt-on installation for MK5 07K engines, fitting without modifications to the engine bay, vacuum, emissions, fuel, or coolant systems. However, installation requires removal of the factory intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel rail, and other components; professional installation is recommended due to the potential for serious engine damage from incorrect installation. The IE Ultimate Power Kit also includes IE Stage 2 manifold software, designed to recalibrate the engine for increased horsepower, torque, and an improved driving experience with removed rev hang, increased throttle response, and an raised rev limiter. Fitment restrictions apply. This manifold will only fit VW 2.5L engines equipped with an electric power steering system; it will not fit if your car has a hydraulic power steering pump. Additionally, vehicles with automatic transmissions require a matching IE TCU Transmission tune to prevent the stock tune's rev limiters from shifting before the manifold and software can utilize the increased power. Factory or other manufacturer cold air intakes may require modifications to fit due to the larger IE intake manifold moving the throttle body's location. The kit is designed for MK5 Rabbit (2006-2009) and Jetta/Jetta GLI (2006-2010) 2.5L engines, and may fit MK6 Golf (2010-14), MK6 Jetta (2010-14), and Jetta Sportwagen (2011-14) with custom modifications.
