It includes both a drain plug and a drain plug gasket for a straightforward maintenance process. This oil pan is compatible with a wide range of Subaru vehicles equipped with 2.5L EJ-series engines. However, please note that this part does NOT fit the 2015-2021 WRX (non-STI) models. If you are installing this on a 2002-2005 2.0L WRX or performing a 2.5L hybrid build, you must also use a 2.5L STI oil pickup strainer and a 2.5L STI oil dipstick for proper fitment and functionality. Installation of this component is considered a difficult job, as it involves working within the engine's undercarriage. As a factory-spec part, it serves as a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment, restoring proper oil management without the need for custom fabrication.
