2.5TFSI EVO (DAZA) High-Flow Performance Downpipe w/ Midpipes

The Unitronic High-Flow Performance Downpipe with Midpipes is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2.5TFSI EVO (DAZA) engines, aiming to eliminate factory restrictions and enhance performance. This system is specifically designed to work in conjunction with Unitronic Stage 2 Software to increase power output. It also contributes to reducing turbo lag and improving the vehicle's exhaust note. Constructed from dual 70mm T304 Stainless Steel tubing, this downpipe features TIG-welded construction for durability. It incorporates a GESi 5” G-Sport Ultra High Output UHO+ 400cpsi Catalytic Converter, which is designed to meet or exceed emissions standards and is rated by GESi for up to 1000HP. The design maintains factory catalyst placement for optimal efficiency and includes OEM-style corrugated mesh flex bellows and proper factory Oxygen Sensor placement. Additional features include OE exhaust hanger mounting provisions and an OE Prop-shaft heat shield bracket. Installation is described as a direct OEM replacement, achievable within hours with moderate mechanical knowledge and tools, rated at a difficulty level of 4 out of 5. When combined with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software and other supporting hardware modifications like E85 fuel, this system yields an output of up to 621HP/564LB-FT. Required hardware for optimal performance includes a Unitronic 3 or 4-inch Intake System, a corresponding Turbo Inlet Elbow, and a 2.5TFSI EVO Spark Plug Set (NGK R7437-9). A Unitronic Wastegate Line Upgrade Kit is recommended.
