2.5TFSI EVO (DAZA) Performance Downpipe

The Unitronic UH051-EXA is a high-flow performance downpipe engineered for 2.5TFSI EVO (DAZA) engines, offering a direct bolt-on upgrade to optimize exhaust flow and boost performance. When combined with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software, this downpipe contributes to a significant increase in power, with claims of up to 621HP/564LB-FT when using E85 and other supporting modifications. Construction features include dual 70mm T304 stainless steel tubing, a cast stainless steel pre-cat downturn and post-cat transition, and TIG-welded assembly for robustness. It incorporates a GESi 5” G-Sport Ultra High Output UHO+ 400cpsi Catalytic Converter, which is rated for up to 1000HP and engineered to meet or exceed emissions standards. The design maintains factory catalyst placement for efficiency, includes OEM-style corrugated mesh flex bellows, and preserves proper factory oxygen sensor placement. OE exhaust hanger and prop-shaft heat shield bracket provisions are also included, ensuring compatibility with the factory cat-back exhaust system. Installation is described as a direct OEM replacement, achievable within hours with moderate mechanical knowledge and tools, rated at a difficulty level of 4 out of 5. Required hardware for installation includes the 2.5TFSI EVO Spark Plug Set (NGK R7437-9), Unitronic 3-inch or 4-inch Intake Systems for 2.5TFSI EVO, and corresponding Turbo Inlet Elbows.
