2.6-Inch 3-Way Adjustable Rear Long Travel Shocks

The Dobinsons MRA59-A885 is a pair of 2.6-inch, 3-way adjustable rear shocks engineered for long travel setups. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house suspension engineers, these MRR (Monotube Reservoir) shocks aim to significantly increase performance over standard equipment and combat shock fade. Key construction features include a robust 3mm thick heavy-duty DOM seamless 66mm outer diameter shock body, precision honed to +/- 0.04mm, and a 60mm CNC machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston. The 18mm shock shaft is made from 5140 HV900 hard chrome-plated, heat-treated, and micro-polished high-strength material with a minimum tensile strength exceeding 700MPA. An upgraded 3-stage FKM•HNBR sealing system ensures durability. These shocks offer extensive adjustability: 10 stages of high-speed compression for aggressive off-roading, 20 stages of low-speed compression for crawling and cornering, and 15 stages of rebound control to manage coil spring behavior and prevent bucking. The remote reservoir is constructed from full 6063 aluminum (60mm diameter) and utilizes TSUGAMITM CNC machined components for precise tolerances and ParkerTM braided high-pressure hoses. Installation is designed as a direct bolt-on application. These shocks are specifically suited for the Toyota Tundra from 2022 onwards and the 2024+ Tacoma. For a long travel setup with approximately 3.0 inches of lift, these shocks require extended bump stops and longer brake lines. The design is fully rebuildable, and they feature O.E.M. grade natural rubber bushings for improved comfort and vibration isolation.
