The Open Grid X-Intake eliminates the restrictive stock cold weather intake air heater grid. It features a 35% larger opening, which helps cool EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) and improves turbo response. For cold weather operation, an optional Intake Heater is available for use with BD 6.7L X-Flow Intake horns. The product requires a tuner that can turn off the grid heater code and is not for sale on licensed California vehicles.
