2.6L Mandrel-Bent Headers

The PaceSetter header is a performance exhaust component designed for the 1985-1992 Isuzu Trooper equipped with a 2.6L engine. This header features 1-1/2" diameter tubing with a 2-1/2" slip-fit collector, engineered to improve exhaust flow. The unit is constructed from mandrel-bent mild steel and includes thick, surface-ground steel flanges for a secure, leak-resistant seal. Each header kit comes complete with necessary hardware, gaskets, and illustrated instructions. Please note that header bolts are not included in the kit. The design includes specific hook-ups for factory smog and engine management sensors to maintain compatibility with original systems. Installation notes specify that the catalytic converter may need to be relocated, and fabrication might be required to connect the header to the existing exhaust system. This header is not legal for use on catalyst-equipped vehicles except for racing purposes, and owners of pre-catalyst vehicles are responsible for the correct reinstallation of original emission control devices. For optimal performance and longevity, professional installation is recommended.
