The ZZPerformance 2.7" pulley is an individual component for the ZZP Modular Pulley System. It is designed for Ecotec engines and allows for pulley sizes down to 2.7" without snout machining. For optimal performance with the 2.7" pulley, 93 octane fuel, 60# injectors, Stage 1+ cams, and a ported head are recommended.

The ZZPerformance 2.7" pulley is designed as an individual component for their Modular Pulley System, offering a significant increase in boost for Ecotec engines. This pulley allows for sizes as small as 2.7" without requiring snout machining, although ZZP notes that snout casting and machining can vary, and they only guarantee fitment down to 2.8" without modification. To maximize the performance gains from this smaller pulley, it is recommended to use 93 octane fuel. For even greater efficiency and power, ZZP suggests pairing the 2.7" pulley with 60# injectors, Stage 1+ camshafts, and a ported cylinder head. Higher octane fuels like E85 or a 75% meth injection system are also compatible with the 2.8" pulley and larger, but the 2.7" pulley's full potential is unlocked with the mentioned supporting modifications.
