2.9L TSFI Twin Turbo Downpipes

The Redstar Exhaust downpipes are specifically engineered for the Audi B9 RS5 and F5 RS4, featuring the Porsche-derived 2.9L TSFI Twin Turbo engine. The design utilizes OEM-spec V-band flanges for a direct bolt-on installation, with all brackets and mounts matching the original equipment. The system boasts a large-bore design with smooth, flow-optimized transitions. It reduces the factory 127mm turbo outlets down to an 89mm main section, which then transitions to 76mm. This configuration is intended to maximize exhaust flow and efficiency, resulting in significant power gains, faster turbo spool-up, improved throttle response, and a more aggressive exhaust note. Additional benefits include increased turbo longevity and reduced under-hood temperatures. These downpipes are available with several options, including choice of catalytic converter (Competition catless, GESI GEN2 UHO+ 400cpsi, or HJS HD 200cpsi) and the option for a performance heat shield with a ceramic inner liner to reduce radiant heat. Tunable O2 sensor spacers are also available to help prevent check engine lights when not using proper ECU tuning. Important considerations include that this product is intended for OFF ROAD/MOTORSPORT USE ONLY and is not designed or certified to meet emissions standards for street or highway use. ECU tuning is highly recommended for optimal performance and calibration, with Purisic Performance noted as a recommended tuner. The downpipes are LHD/RHD compliant and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
