2-Bolt Up-Pipe

The GrimmSpeed 2-Bolt Up-Pipe is engineered to provide precise fitment and long-term durability for USDM Subaru EJ25 engines featuring an OEM-style 2-bolt header. Developed in-house using advanced CAD software and a FARO Arm, this up-pipe ensures dead-on accuracy with its ½" CNC-milled 304 stainless steel flanges. It is constructed from heavy-duty 14-gauge 304 stainless steel tubing, which is 33% thicker than many competitors' offerings, and features a 321 stainless steel "Tuned-Bellow" flex joint for added durability. The design prioritizes smooth airflow, with a ported flush connection from the pipe to the flange for uninterrupted flow. For superior strength and a reliable seal, each pipe is hand-welded both inside and outside the flange. The package includes GrimmSpeed Fire Ring multi-layer steel gaskets and all necessary corrosion-resistant zinc-coated hardware, eliminating the need for additional purchases. Available finishes include raw stainless steel or a black ceramic thermal coating, which helps reduce underhood temperatures and prevent heat soak. Performance benefits include a reduction in turbo lag and an improvement in spool times by approximately 300-400 RPM, leading to faster and more efficient turbocharger operation. This enhanced boost response significantly improves overall driving dynamics, particularly for performance and track applications. Notably, this up-pipe does not require a tune for installation. Fitment is specifically for the following USDM Subaru EJ25 engines with a 2-bolt header: 2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2006-2014 Subaru WRX, 2006-2013 Subaru Forester XT, 2007-2009 Subaru Legacy GT, and 2007-2009 Subaru Outback XT.
