Overview

The Pyle PLA485 is a 2-channel bridgeable MOSFET amplifier designed for vehicle audio systems. It offers a power output of 300 watts per channel or 600 watts when bridged into a single channel. The amplifier features a variable electronic crossover network and a variable bass boost for sound customization.

Additional features include gold-plated RCA inputs, a high-level MOLEX input, and LED indicators for power and protection. It operates on a voltage range of 10.5-16V and has a frequency response of 15 Hz to 30 KHz. The amplifier also includes thermal, overload, and short circuit protection, along with an anti-thump turn-on feature.

The Pyle PLA485 is a high-performance 2-channel bridgeable MOSFET amplifier engineered to enhance your car's audio system. It delivers a robust 300 watts of power to each channel, or can be bridged to provide a powerful 600-watt output for a subwoofer or a single high-output speaker. Customization is at your fingertips with the PLA485's variable electronic crossover network (Hi/Lo) and adjustable bass boost, allowing you to tailor the sound to your preferences, with a boost of 0 to +18dB at 60Hz. It also includes a variable input level (gain) control for fine-tuning the signal and a remote turn-on/off feature. Connectivity is made easy with gold-plated RCA inputs for standard head units and a high-level MOLEX input for integration with factory systems. The amplifier is built with protection in mind, featuring thermal, overload, and short circuit protection, as well as an anti-thump turn-on to prevent jarring sounds during startup. It also includes LED indicators for power and protection status. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 95dB and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.04%, the PLA485 ensures a clean and powerful audio experience. Its frequency response ranges from 15 Hz to 30 KHz, covering a wide spectrum of sound. The amplifier operates on a standard 10.5-16V DC negative ground power supply and has a maximum current draw of 15A. Its compact dimensions are 11.8"W x 2.4"H x 8.2"L.
